Friday, Nov 27:  Peace of Mind (Lecture)

Stress and tension seem to fill most aspects of our relationships and our lives. We put a lot into living and seldom feel like we get enough back. Compounding this is our not knowing what really is worth our investment (be it the activities we do, classes we take, foods we eat or the products we use). How do we know what will really help solve our pain? Lack of clarity creates worry; worry becomes negative goal setting; and you become what you think about. Considering the current world situation and the amount of stress it has caused us, Purna Yoga’s focus on a complete lifestyle practice takes on a whole new meaning and importance. Join Aadil and find out how you can begin to handle difficult life changes and live life smiling.

Sat. & Sun.:  Stressful Times; Peaceful Life (Practice & Discussion)

Spend the weekend learning to implement the foundational principles from the Friday night lecture. Release the tightness in your body through carefully designed asana series.  Unwind the tension in your nervous system through simple breath techniques and Heartfull Meditation™.  Reduce the stress from your environment by learning lifestyle and nutrition tips, thereby empowering your life.  The power of Purna Yoga is in the fact that it addresses all aspects of your world, and gives solutions for your life, both in the body-mind continuum and in the outer world.

On Saturday you will learn pranayama and techniques to focus the mind using Heartfull Meditation™ so that you feel fulfilled in living dharma.  Then you will strengthen your legs, release your spine and learn a series of poses that facilitate the natural detox process.  The asana practice will focus on standing poses, inversions and twists.

The Sunday classes will open your throat, your heart and your pelvic energies through the practice of backbends. This will create confidence and self-empowerment. Class discussions will include how to take what you have learned out into the word, and you will end the weekend with a powerful Shavāsana to integrate your newly discovered calmness into your being.

Prepare to learn transformative concepts, to work hard to implement them in practical ways, and then to feel the fulfillment of a balanced Purna Yoga practice over this wonderful weekend with Aadil.

Open to everyone with at least 6 months of regular alignment-based yoga.
